Sujud signifies how much we are humbling ourselves before Allah SWT. We are nothing in comparison but how many of us feels the humility of the soul as we put our faces on the ground, in glorification of God?
It was narrated by Abu Hurayrah r.a: The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: The closest that a servant is to his Lord is when he is in prostration (sujud).
